Hey guys,Trying to re-install Logic Express 9 onto my new MacBook. The Logic Express 9 is the upgrade to Express 8.I used Time Machine to restore the MacBook from a back-up off my old iMac, which I'm selling.When ever I go to enter the old serial from Logic Express 8, when it asks for it, it crashes. When installing from the disk; crashes, opening it from the computer, it comes up with the prompt; crashes.Does anybody any way I can fix this? No problem I thought, it's obviously just a verification issue with the licence.Typed it into the box & the minute you click 'OK', the fricking thing freezes, hangs there doing nothing & then you've got to Force Quit the program!!I've tried everything possible, re-installs, deleting prefs, the works. I can't even get passed the installation stage of LE9 now, as as soon as I type in the serial numbers it freezes the installer program!LE8 works on the MBP absolutely fine, which I find really strange if it's an auth issue??I am nearly bald with frustration lol & yours is the only thread I can find anywhere on the net that sounds similar to my problem.Cheers.

Cheers Triplets, your a life saver!!It all seems to be progressing quite nicely now. I think where I was going wrong was that I'd read about moving those two files to the desktop temporarily on a help thread, but then I was going thru the whole process of re-installing my LE8 upgrade instead of just going straight for LE9, thinking the glitch must be further back.I now realise I would have inputted an ID set/serial no. That would just cock it up again. I now feel a right pratI can't thank you enough, I've been racking my brains for a day & a half now.
