Hi there,I would like to help in answering your query, the new addition soundpool 18 also caught my eye on Catooh, from what I am aware, pool 18 does not contain any ogg formats, it is still 16-bit and contains 'audio pro unlimited wav' files only, which is a higher gradient format for sound sampling as well as the licence restrictions offering unrestricted copyrights. This package is for sale for approx £122,I am not 100%, still learning myself, hope this adds to what you were asking to find out.I am not surprised to see Magix upping it's prices, to compete with other sample manufacterers, whom provide 24-bit formats, and sell soundpools for around the value of £200 - £1000.
This is driving me crazy. Earlier when I started up Music Maker, a pink box popped up in the program. I only glanced over it before clicking on it, thinking it would give me more information, but I believe it gave me a couple of coupon codes to get soundpools/instruments as part of a springtime sale, I think? Either way, when I clicked on the box, nothing happened and it just disappeared. I suppose my main question is, is there a way for me to review these 'pop-ups' so that I can find those codes?
Or, did I just grossly misread what it said and no such codes/sale exist? Yeah, so I found out the hard way that it turns out the codes only work on soundpools that cost $25 or more. Except, when I looked through the app store at least, the only ones that fit the '25 or more' criteria are a few collections that cost $50.
And, naturally, none of these collections have anything I want AND all the pools I actually want cost 20, a measly five bucks short. You'd think 'coupons valued at $25 each' would mean that it would cover the cost of soundpools UP TO $25, but I guess not! All that work for some useless codes. Thanks Magix.Sheesh.
